When the pandemic hit, Josh Okogie was looking to connect with fans while gaming which led to him streaming on Twitch - first with Wombo Sports (an eSports company I was freelancing for) and then on his own. He asked me to work alongside him on creating content for his Twitch including branding, on-screen assets, and potential merch in the future.
We wanted to include a bit of his past (bringing in the gold of Georgia Tech) with his present (bringing in the Suns’ colors) while highlighting his skills as both a basketball player and gamer throughout the work: a little bit of texture representative of his physicality on defense on the court alongside some animated flames representative of his fiery personality. The result? Some truly fire graphics.
