RISE29 is developing a national model for rural entrepreneurs with the goal of transforming eastern North Carolina through microenterprises, job development and existing business support. Originally started as a student entrepreneurship program for East Carolina University, it is now a program led by ECU that now includes support from other local universities and businesses.
RISE29 needed branding that also tapped into the feeling of the small, often rural, businesses in the eastern 29 counties of North Carolina that the program worked so closely with, while being versatile enough to apply throughout virtually any medium.
